Competitive Amiibo Guide: Zero Suit Samus

Hey, everyone! I’m Arklaine, and welcome to the competitive Zero Suit Samus amiibo training guide. As always, thank you for taking the time to visit Cloud Nine – we appreciate your continued support! Bear in mind that this is the competitive guide – which means we’ll be using equipment. If you’d rather read the casual guide, where you’ll be training a vanilla Zero Suit Samus amiibo for personal use, check out this page instead.

When Samus sheds her Power Suit, she is no longer held back by the flaws plaguing her armored counterpart – this is a blessing since Zero Suit Samus is significantly easier to train and has tourney results to back up her good reputation. Her unique moveset makes her a strong tournament contender, and with the help of this guide, you’ll be well on your way to turning your Zero Suit Samus amiibo into a champion!

This guide is up-to-date as of version 1.1.7 of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Competitive Amiibo Guide: Samus

Greetings! Arklaine here, with yet another amiibo training guide! Thanks so much for visiting Cloud Nine – your support is always appreciated. And also, please note that this is the competitive Samus training guide, and that means we’ll be using equipment. If you’d prefer to train yours without equipment instead, head over to the casual Samus training guide.

Being an iconic video game protagonist, you’d expect Samus to be a great amiibo, just like Mario, Luigi, and Link, right? Unfortunately, that isn’t the case with Samus – her amiibo is actually very difficult to work withIn fact, she’s generally considered to be one of, if not the worst in the entire amiibo metagame. Even Meta Knight, who was once considered the worst amiibo, has had better tournament results than Samus. There may be potential to be found in Samus, but it either doesn’t exist or hasn’t been fully uncovered yet. But if you’re so determined to raise your own Samus amiibo, perhaps this guide will help you.

This guide is up-to-date as of version 1.1.6 of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Competitive Amiibo Guide: Link

What’s up, everyone? Arklaine here, this time with a Link amiibo training guide. Thank you for continuing to support Cloud Nine – we appreciate it very much. Also, bear in mind that this is the competitive Link training guide, and not the casual guide – if you’d like to train your Link amiibo without equipment, head on over to the casual Link training guide instead.

In the amiibo metagame, Link is a powerful contender. His strong smash attacks, versatile projectiles, and recovery options make him a flexible fighter who can handle any opponent. Many amiibo trainers have found success with this character in competitive play, and with the help of this guide, you’ll be able to find that success for yourself!

This guide is up-to-date as of version 1.1.6 of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Competitive Amiibo Guide: Lucario

Greetings! Arklaine here, with yet another amiibo training guide! Thanks so much for visiting Cloud Nine – your support is always appreciated. And also, please note that this is the competitive Lucario training guide, and that means we’ll be using equipment on the Aura Pokémon’s amiibo. If you’d prefer to train yours without equipment instead, head over to the casual Lucario training guide.

If Lucario were to be described in just one word, that word would be “rewarding”. Yet, with all rewards come risk, and Lucario certainly isn’t lacking in either of those aspects. However, that didn’t stop many amiibo trainers from having copious amounts of success with Lucario, and its high tier placement is proof of their accomplishments. Lucario’s amiibo is packed with potential, and this guide is dedicated to helping you unlock it.

This guide is up-to-date as of version 1.1.6 of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Competitive Amiibo Guide: Robin

Hello folks, Arklaine here, and welcome to the competitive Robin guide! Thanks for taking the time to visit Cloud Nine – your support is greatly appreciated. If you didn’t already know, this is the competitive Robin amiibo training guide, which involves feeding it equipment. If you’d rather train him vanilla, which means without equipment, head over to the casual Robin training guide instead.

Just like Cloud with his Pac-Man amiibo, I originally didn’t find much success with Robin – which is a shame, because Robin is one of my favorite characters in Super Smash Bros. He won a few matches here and there at first, but it was nothing too spectacular. He aged like fine wine, though; I soon had a powerful fighter that quickly tipped the scales of battle in his favor! Robin may start off a bit slow and underwhelming for you, too, but with enough time and patience, your own Robin amiibo can become a strong tournament contender!

This guide is up-to-date as of version 1.1.6 of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Competitive Amiibo Guide: Ganondorf

Hello there! Arklaine here with a Ganondorf guide! First off, thanks for taking the time to visit Cloud Nine – we really appreciate your support. Second, this is the competitive Ganondorf amiibo training guide – which means we’ll be using equipment. If you’re looking to train your Ganondorf without using equipment, head on over to Cloud’s casual Ganondorf training guide instead.

Ganondorf is regarded as one of the most popular picks in competitive amiibo play, and it’s not hard to see why – he possesses many strengths that make him very difficult to take down, and his amiibo is also rather easy to find and purchase. Furthermore, out of every amiibo there is, Ganondorf gets first place in tournaments more often than any other fighter (unless you count Little Mac, but he’s universally banned from tournaments). All of these strengths ensure his top-tier status, along with other characters such as Bowser and Ness. If you’ve come to turn your Ganondorf amiibo into a tournament champion, then you’re in the right place!

This guide is up-to-date as of version 1.1.6 of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
