Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Soul Shard Saga

Note: If you haven’t read the previous saga, the Oblivion Island series, you should do so now. Cloud’s Forum Adventures‘ serials are best read in the correct order. Click here to read the Oblivion Island Saga.

The Soul Shard Saga was the second season of Cloud’s Forum Adventures, taking place directly after the Oblivion Island Saga. The dark clones have betrayed the protagonists and killed Cloud, and it’s up to the Observatarians to find the legendary Soul Shard to revive their fallen partner and dispel of the enemy.

As one of the earliest Cloud’s Forum Adventures serials ever created, you can expect this one to be on the lower end of the quality spectrum. The story was really all over the place, there were a lot of unnecessary characters, the dialogue was uninspired…yeah, nothing too special to see here, but it’s an interesting glimpse into Cloud’s Forum Adventures’ past, at the very least. All 13 episodes are available here for you to read. Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Lunar Battle Saga

Note: If you haven’t read the previous saga, the Soul Shard series, you should do so now. Cloud’s Forum Adventures‘ serials are best read in the correct order. Click here to read the Soul Shard Saga.

The Lunar Battle Saga was the third serial of Cloud’s Forum Adventures, taking place directly after the Soul Shard series. A new foe appears, and the protagonists are forced into battle. Of all the Cloud’s Forum Adventures sagas, this one is probably the craziest. There’s time travel, three different villains, a castle invasion, a black hole, over ten consecutive episodes of battles that still manage to be boring…there’s a lot going on here. A lot.

Quantity does not necessarily mean quality in this case. I was around 14 when I made these episodes, so you can probably guess what the quality was like: not so good. All 35 episodes of the Lunar Battle saga are available here for your viewing “pleasure”. Click on an image, and it’ll open a slide show. Each episode is captioned with its proper title and in the correct order.

Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Nightmare Legion Series (Iteration 2)

This is the second of two iterations of the Nightmare Legion Saga. This was my second attempt at making a good storyline based around the enemy of the Nightmare Legion. It takes place after the Miracle Crown series, but only 9 episodes were ever made. A new threat called the Nightmare Legion rises, forcing the protagonists to take action. The protagonists meet Spectra, a new friend, but she is promptly kidnapped. This leads Cloud and Megar to give chase, where they discover a dark secret about one of their best friends (I didn’t draw enough episodes for you to see what I mean by that last part).

Now hey, these episodes are actually…kind of decent, unlike all of the older Cloud’s Forum Adventures chapters. The visuals are pretty much on point, the characters have more personality, and the storyline progression and events aren’t terrible. Don’t get me wrong, I believe this attempt was still kind of flawed, but it was definitely my best shot yet. All 9 chapters are available here for you to read, and each one has been labeled with its episode number and title.

Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Yarn Adventures Saga

0Note: If you haven’t read the previous saga, the Lunar Battle series, you should do so now. Cloud’s Forum Adventures‘ serials are best read in the correct order. Click here to read the Lunar Battle Saga.

The Yarn Adventures Saga was the fourth season of Cloud’s Forum AdventuresA mysterious magician appears at the Observatory, kidnapping its members and sucking them into his hat. When the protagonists are transported to a brand-new world made of yarn, they must escape and defeat this new enemy. Sound familiar? Yeah. It’s a shameless knockoff of Kirby’s Epic Yarn, because why not?

Please note, these episodes are really old, and as a result, they’re pretty bad. Read them and you’ll see what I mean. The characters, the story, the dialogue, everything’s a hot mess. All 31 episodes of this saga are available here for you to read. Click on an image, and it’ll open a slide show. Each episode is captioned with its proper title and in the correct order. If you have trouble following along, no worries. I made these when I was 14. They’re cringy, to say the very least. But history is history.

Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Miracle Crown Saga

Note: If you haven’t read the previous saga, the Yarn Adventures series, you should do so now. Cloud’s Forum Adventures‘ serials are best read in the correct order. Click here to read the Yarn Adventures Saga.

The Miracle Crown Saga was the fifth and final saga of Cloud’s Forum Adventures. In this serial, Cloud is tasked with destroying the evil Miracle Crown that was previously used against the protagonists by Beanluv. Unfortunately, things go horribly wrong, and Cloud ends up possessed. Now nothing more than a power-hungry shell, the remaining members of Cloud’s Observatory are forced to dethrone their rampaging leader.

If you can’t tell from the visuals, these comic episodes are very old. I was actually only 13 or 14 when I made these and…you can probably assume that they aren’t very good as a result. They’re cringy at best, and hard to follow at worst. All 15 episodes are available for you to read. Each episode is captioned with its proper title and in the correct order.

Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Nightmare Legion Saga (Iteration 1)

Note: If you haven’t read the previous saga, the Miracle Crown series, you should do so now. Cloud’s Forum Adventures‘ serials are best read in the correct order. Click here to read the Miracle Crown Saga.

This is the first of two iterations of the Nightmare Legion Saga. It takes place after the Miracle Crown series, but was sadly never finished despite reaching 24 episodes. A new threat called the Nightmare Legion rises, forcing the protagonists to take action. Cloud is transported to the world of Imagina, which is located in his own mind. There, he has to fight and defeat four nightmares to earn the Celestial Scepter, which will help him in his quest.

You’d think that, by the time I started my sixth comic plotline, I’d be halfway decent at it, right? Not necessarily. These episodes have the most complicated storyline in Cloud’s Forum Adventures history, so it’s difficult to follow along with what’s happening. All 24 episodes are available here. Each one is captioned with its episode number. Unfortunately, the actual titles of each episode have been lost to time…and by “time”, I mean “a broken flash drive”. Oh well.

Cloud’s Forum Adventures: Beta Elements

Cloud’s Forum Adventures went through many iterations. I’ve never been very good at organizing big projects, and due to the characters being based on actual users (for the most part) there are a lot of variables. Several times, I’ve had to change characters’ names and designs to reflect changes people made to their usernames. As you might expect, I’ve designed and drawn many characters, items, and locations that never made it. If you’re interested in taking a behind-the-scenes look at Cloud’s Forum Adventures character development, you’ve come to the right place.

Note: If you’ve never read Cloud’s Forum Adventures before, none of this is going to make any sense to you. If you want to take a look at the older episodes (which are going to be referred to many times), you can do so by clicking here.
